Discover the Vasarely Foundation and its temporary exhibition

The Vasarely Foundation is an eminent institution dedicated to the artistic legacy of the famous Hungarian artist Victor Vasarely (1906-1997). Nestling in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, France, this institution was built in 1976 by the master himself.

Vasarely was a visionary artist who played a leading role on the French abstraction scene. The embodiment of Op Art, he distinguished himself through his subtle use of geometric shapes, repetitive motifs and colours, creating optical illusions and unique kinetic perceptions.

The Fondation Vasarely houses a vast collection of the artist's works, including paintings, sculptures and graphics. This place of contemplation offers visitors a spellbinding immersion in Vasarely's fascinating world.
